The Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science has seven departments that offer study in aerospace engineering, bioengineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer science and engineering, electrical and computer engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials engineering, and mechanical engineering. Undergraduate programs in aerospace engineering, bioengineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, materials engineering, and mechanical engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. The computer science and computer science and engineering programs are accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. The undergraduate program in computer engineering, established in fall 2017, will be submitted to ABET for accreditation during the next ABET visit in the fall of 2024.
